Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to pop on for a few minutes and let everybody know that our recording project will be completed very soon. We should have copies available for sale for the late spring. Please stay in touch with our site for radio stations that will be hosting our new material. This project is one of the most comprehensive endeavors I have been a part of in my musical career. It has take several years and countless hours to get things ready for you our friends. Please spread the word as this project WILL receive acclaim. There are a few covers of popular tunes by popular groups and then there are original tunes written by the group that by just listening to them, place you on the coast and in that happy mood. We hope you will enjoy the project for years to come. STAY TUNED!!!
We are pleased to announce that we have undertaken a new recording project for 2011. This one will be different in that we are including special guest artists to perform with us. The first artist we will announce has had us all bubbling for quite some time now and holding down the lid has been very difficult. We are pleased today, to announce that the ECPB will be recording a song with Multiple Grammy Award winning artist, Bill Champlin formerly of Chicago. Please see the link for his history. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Champlin

Not only is he a worldclass musician, Grammy winning songwriter and great entertainer, Bill is one of the nicest fellows you could want to meet. He has been so gracious to us and we thank him for his talent and his music as it adds so much to our project. His musical interpretation and viewpoint is truly a one of a kind gift and we hope all that buy our recording and all that hear us with him, enjoy this collaboration.

The song is entitled
"Aint Got Nothing, So I Aint Got Nothing To Lose" and it will be released very soon.

Stay tuned as we have more to announce later! Keep putting 10 in 5 and we will see you at the party.

OUR NEXT SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST

Let me tell you all a story. Jim Moore, one of our guitarists and his son Jason, one of our saxophonists and vocalists, lived in Greenville SC back in the 70's and 80's. Jason and his friends were always into music and Mr. Moore used opportunities to "clue in" the young fellows on a variety of influences. One of Jason's best buddies became interested in playing the guitar and often asked for guitar help when he came to hang out. Mr. Moore would graciously teach him something and he would go downstairs to practice; come back upstairs for approval and something new.

Our next guest artist we have to announce was that very same young man. He has turned out to be a very accomplished musician, songwriter and performer. He has charted a plethera of songs in the Rock idiom and he was born, raised and lives right here in South Carolina. His name is EDWIN McCAIN! We are so proud that he will participate in the recording process with us. Check out his biography:

Everyone in the band is so excited not to mention the Moore's. It's like bringing in family to play with again. We hope you guys will be excited and please let everyone know. Our project is on schedule and will be completed before you know it. Stay tuned as we have more news to come. As always, keep putting 10 in 5 and we will see you at the PARTY!

UPDATE............. Edwin dropped by MO STUDIOS and recorded his vocal on our tune "Mixed Up and Messed Up" He is a genuinely nice guy and very talented as most of the world already knows. Bringing Edwins soulfulness to Beach Music is going to be a great thing for the Beach Music community. Shaggers are going to just love this song and Edwin's vocal delivery! Should be released in early August. Theres no doubt, Edwin put 10 pounds of party in a 5 pound bag on this one!
